Sony Ericsson unwrapped the C902 Cyber-shot candybar handset this evening, before the start of the 2008 Mobile World Congress that is being held in Barcelona, Spain. This slender handset is only 10.5mm (.4") thick and packs a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, red-eye reduction, facial recognition, and BestPic. BestPic allows you to take 9 shots in rapid succession, then choose the best ones and delete the rest - perfect for capturing life in action.
The C902 has 160MB of internal memory in addition to the Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot with plenty of room for expansion. Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and WCDMA (2100MHz) is also included along with Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for stereo headsets. The Access NetFront full HTML mobile web browser is pre-installed and the C902 supports Sony Ericsson's PlayNow music store.
The C902 Cyber-shot is planned to be available in Q2 2008 in your choice of Swift Black or Luscious Red. No pricing has been announced yet. |

If, during the warranty period, this product fails to operate under normal use and service, due to defects in materials and workmanship, Sony Ericsson subsidiaries , authorised distributors or service partners will, at their option , either repair or replace the product in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated herein.
This warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to normal wear and tear, or due to misuse, including but not limited to use in other than the normal and customary manner, in accordance with the Sony Ericsson instructions for use and maintenance of the product. Nor does this warranty cover any failure of the product due to accident, modification or adjustment , acts of God or damages resulting from liquid. |

Great as a gift. I think the only downfall is its slow speed and the finicky flash on the camera. Other than that it is a fun phone.
