I ordered this mainly because of the number of features packaged into the phone and the reliability of past SE phones Ive owned.I am not going to compare the phone to other business phones simply because the phone was designed as an entertainment phone.Thus far all the features work superbly and some even better since the recent firmware update particularly the camera although low light left a lot to be desired.Track ID worked well although most songs from my country of origin were not recognized.It Ided old songs well which was impressive.The WiFi worked excellently as well as the GPS.The sound of the walkman earphones were excellent with the noise cancellation as they described.The applications were interesting and worked well also.Phone call reception was good overall.Battery life was decent given the amount of time I used the different applications and features.I also used the DLNA with my PS3 and it worked well.
The screen size although better threw me off at times as it became tiring to the eyes(I spent a lot of time playin and havin fun with the phone).I do think that a touch screen would have been an excellent fit to this phone although it is not necessary as the navigator works fine, it is no loss.
The application Media GO is great and with time and upgrades will work well with the phone.Got some great podcasts and that is not even with the stores products.There are applications out there that really allow you to maximize the phone , and that is great given that it is relatively new.This is for those concerned about the lack of the smartphone feature.I have already obtained apps for pdfs , excel and word just to name a few.
All in all its a good phone, despite somewhat negative reviews placed by some experts .The phone is loaded with good features and a good camera.

What an incredible machine! The W995 is very compact, yet solid with its brushed metal back panel and solid slider system. It packs so many features its almost hard to believe. Battery life is excellent, screen quality is awesome, the interface is intuitive and everything about this phone seems to have been well-thought and probably thoroughly tested.
I dont agree with comments about the kickstand. Although its not a specifically useful feature, it will hold the phone upright on an even surface and its not that fragile.
The sound quality is very good and even the built-in stereo speakers are impressive for the size.
Overall, the Sony Ericsson W995 is, in my opinion, one of the very best mobile phones available at the moment.
